When Do 2023 RAM Trucks Come Out?

When Do 2023 RAM Trucks Come Out?

RAM trucks truly are the pinnacle of pickups, not only when it comes to heavy-duty performance and hauling power but also when it comes to style. These monster machines offer more elegance and luxury inside and out than any other pick-up truck on the market, all while providing an exhilarating drive and powerful driving features. And guess what? It’s that time of year again when we get ready for what the brand plans to deliver for the upcoming new model season. You can rest assured that we’ll be procuring new models as soon as possible – dare we say faster than any other dealer in the Battlefords even. From the RAM 1500 and 2500 to the formidable 3500, let’s take a deeper dive into what RAM has in store for 2023!

2023 RAM 1500

Back in 2019, RAM blew the doors off the competition after unveiling its massive update. Since then, the truck has won several accolades, including awards for quality. As a solid competitor among other full-sized pickups, 1500 continues to shine in its overall design. So it’s no surprise that while 1500 was one of the first pickup trucks to have a luxurious cabin, others in the segment have caught up. We expect the 2023 model year to arrive with a more high-end look, more high-quality materials, and range-topping trims that further push the truck into luxury territory. Powertrains are likely to stay the same with the 3.6-litre V6 engine standard, while a 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6, a 5.7-litre V8, and a 6.2-litre V8 engine are available. Power ranges from 305 horsepower up to 702 hp, and all engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission. However, a potential increase in hauling capabilities is possible. Currently, the truck is rated to tow up to 12,750 lbs. and haul up to 2,300 lbs. Tech remains largely unchanged as the truck will continue to be equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch touchscreen, navigation, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

While this isn’t necessarily part of a refreshed 2023 Ram 1500 news, it is worth mentioning a new BEV Ram 1500 is expected to make its design debut later this year. Although the all-electric 1500 variant likely won’t be on the market until the fall of 2024, it’s still something for EV enthusiasts to get excited about!

2023 RAM 2500

The RAM 2500 is the heavy-duty middle child of the RAM lineup. For 2023, there are a few little updates we’re getting excited about. This season you can expect a new Rebel package, a sporty new hood design, a set of new exterior mirrors, and a new digital gauge cluster. The 2023 RAM 2500 Rebel comes standard with the 6.8-litre HEMI V8 engine with 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the 6.7-litre V6 Cummins turbo diesel engine for 370 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the Ram 2500 can tow up to 20,000 lbs and carry a payload of up to 4,010 lbs. Towing upgrades in the Rebel will include more camera views, towing mirrors with LED puddle lights, hands-free trailer backup assistance, a camera view that’s behind the trailer, and the invisible trailer feature that aims to make it seem invisible on the infotainment system.

2023 RAM 3500

For the heaviest of duties, few pickups can match the tenacity of the RAM 3500. 2023 will offer a few subtle upgrades, but the model lineup will be largely unchanged for the upcoming season. New side mirrors and a surprisingly flashy camouflage hood are two main changes RAM lovers can expect. This refresh arrives after the 2022 model received some substantial updates itself, including the all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment system and a new Trailer 360 View mode that gives owners a bird’s eye and a 360-degree view of a connected trailer. Under its hood, the 2023 RAM 3500 has a 6.7L TurboDiesel engine equipped. The heavy-duty pickup features either a high-output 6.7L, capable of 420 horsepower and 1,075lb-ft of torque, or a standard variant 6.7L which delivers 370 hp and 850lb-ft of torque. While the engine may not be affected by this refresh, it can’t be ruled out as Ram is always looking to improve its vehicles. For now, we’ll be staying tuned for more information about the 2023 RAM 3500.
